“Do you think that We created you in vain, and that you would not be returning to Us?” 23:115
Masha’Allah, beautiful voice of Yahya Hawwa
And of course, Mishary al Afasy, amazing as usual
“But after them [the Prophets and righteous] came an evil generation, who neglected prayers and followed sensual desires, so they win meet destruction.”
*you see, the Quran doesn’t only talk about non-muslims
This is amazing! subhanallah
No more excuses about not having wudu! hahah 😉
Allah (swt) quantifies the extent to which we can seek revenge against someone who has wronged us (an eye for an eye). BUT, the reward for forgiving the person is INFINITE.
Watch this ~amazing~ lecture by br. Nou’man Ali Khan here.
Something else to consider: when we think we’re getting revenge equally, how do we know we hurt the person in the same way as they hurt us? Will we leave justice to ourselves or to Allah? hmm…that’s a no brainer…
A frenchman who discovered Islam 2 years ago, he’s now 25, mashaa’Allah
pour les francophones (ou ceux qui font semblant français =P) :
He demonstrates the sunnah way of sitting when eating and sleeping (3/4 of the way through)
If you’re the type that has trouble getting up for – AND STAYING UP AFTER – fajr, read these articles. Once again, science and research support islam (wow, what a surprise. not). Remember, it’s part of the sunnah to stay up after fajr!
