forgiveness vs. revenge
Allah (swt) quantifies the extent to which we can seek revenge against someone who has wronged us (an eye for an eye). BUT, the reward for forgiving the person is INFINITE.

Something else to consider: when we think we’re getting revenge equally, how do we know we hurt the person in the same way as they hurt us? Will we leave justice to ourselves or to Allah? hmm…that’s a no brainer…
